You have some nice images there...some seem to have an odd color cast, but you captured emotion and the moment very well...How many images did you take in all?
And, here is my newest work. It's Colin, my baby boy. He will be five months old on Monday. I know its kind of a typical baby picture, and not too terribly creative, but I love the look on his face.

| Wow the first and the third one are awesome. Especially the third one. It's trippy looking.

| It looks like you had some focusing issues on 1 and 2. Did you crop these maybe from much bigger images? It almost looks like when I zoom an 8 megapixel image to 100%.
I really like 3, but not the framing. The big snowflake shouldn't be in the center. Remember the rule of thirds. Other than that though, I really like it. |

Depending on which ones you're referring to, the color cast is probably on purpose.
Total, I think I was over 700 images. I only have 3 GB in memory cards available. I should have gotten more. I wanted to shoot in RAW, but I just didn't have enough memory to do it feasibly and get all the shots I wanted. And I think I'm paying for that in post-processing. |

#791 | | Baby #2 is here! | So, did you shoot in JPG I suppose?
I've seen more wedding photographers shoot JPG only rather than RAW...I guess when you get that many images (you did good with 700, thats about right), starting with JPG saves you some steps and makes the PP process a bit faster.

It was a very difficult wedding to shoot, I feel, because the lighting was always either too dark or an ugly shade of yellow. Shooting in RAW would have allowed me to not be so concerned about getting the shot perfect and be more concerned about just capturing the right moments, which with weddings, I feel is the most important thing to be concerned about. |

the only light source is a christmas tree | It doesn't look like a low lit shot...it just looks severely underexposed.
To do low light - not everything needs to be dark. You still need to put the focus on the subject...meaning the guys face should be better exposed.
