I personally think Pillar flat out rocks, I think they are definitely one of the best hard rock bands out there, up there with Creed, P.O.D., and 12 Stones.

Their "Fireproof" and "Where do we go from here" albums are sweet!

I haven't heard that one but I've heard "Open your eyes" and that is a awesome song.

Ya they had some good songs on there. It had a bit of a jazz feel to it or elevator music in a way.Fireproof I think was alot better just because it felt like they matured. Both are good cds.

I don't exactly think so. From what I've heard, there seemed to be mostly rap and hardly any rock on Above.

On a different note, has anyone else seen the DVD with the special edition of WDWGFH? I borrowed it from a girl at my church and wasn't jealous like I was before. Basically the only big thing about the DVD was it made you appreciate Rob being the only one who sings (and it had the 2 music videos)

There isn't as much rap as you might think. There's about as much as Fireproof had. Above has a reggae tint to their sound that makes it reminiscent of 311.

Yeah, I wasn't sure how to state that, but reggae is a good word. I think they should do a little bit more rap on the next Cd, maybe an amount in between Fireproof and WDWGFH.

I dont see the rap part coming because they played a new song at a recent concert called Our Escape and it was heavier
