its ugly, but it goes from 0-60 in 6 sec ()

Those images are way too big. Please shrink them and repost if you wish to have them up.

Let's see...enough low-end torque to make V8 fans drool, and fuel economy good enough to make the Civic fans drool. 0-60 in 5.5 seconds stock, and enough handling to back it up. Takes corners on rails. Will eat most stock mustangs alive.

Insurance? Less than my previous car, a Civic.

Practical? It gets me to and from work every day, and can still hit the track later.

Oh, and what they say about black cars is true, they're a nightmare to keep clean. But when they're clean...they're nothing short of awesome.

My first and only car I've owned, Penelope. She's been the best car ever.

These are about the only pictures I have right now. She's a 2003 Mustang GT.

Post pics of your ride

I can't recall having seen a thread started on here with the express purpose of posting pic's of our cars. I feel inspired by the fantasy ride thread so here goes.

My fair weather ride: 2003 Mustang GT, I just removed stripes off and detailed it.

And the new winter beater, 2004 Mercury Mountaineer. I need to clean her up and took some good pictures.

Here's my daily driver. 2009 Saturn Sky Redline, 5-speed manual, loaded.

Those pics are old. Now that spring is here, I'm planning on spending a weekend washing and doing a full detail. Engine compartment, undercarriage, everything. When I do, I'll take some new pics.

There is already a pics thread. It is literally on the first page of the Cars Forum.

*off to merge*

...........And it looks like both of you already posted in it within the last four months.....

What can I say? We like our cars.

And I have no memory of this thread...It's obvious I've been here, but had I remembered it was here I would have mentioned it in the other thread...

Same here, I've been here quite a while but didn't remember such a thread. It should have been stickied anyways. Oops, my bad.

Showing off the now-matching windshield surround and rear deck.

What can I say? Handling, power, fuel economy and looks all in the same car. What's not to like?

*image removed for size*

*If you want to resize it down to something smaller, you can put it back in.*

EDIT: Thanks. Yeah, my browser forced it to fit, so I didn't realize how huge it was. The attachment is fine by me, so I'll leave it that way. (read: I'm lazy, and don't want to bother re-sizing it. )

(to: ethan_hanus) Why am I not surprised???

This is Suzy. My1996 Geo Tracker 2WD. These two pix were taken roughly 3 minutes ago. My car looks good a) when it's nice and clean b) when it's covered in mud. Currently it is neither... which is fail.

Here is the engine. It's a 1.6L petrol engine that makes (when it was new) 95hp and with my 3 speed autotragic I get about 28/30 MPG. The higher end models of my car could be ordered with a mutant Hamster on a wheel that made nearly twice as much power, but those models went through sooo much cornfeed.

This pic was from about a week ago when I had just cleaned it. She was being naughty and she took her top off.

I'll go along with that truck love! My parents bought it yesterday while I was taking the SAT. I love it. Sorry for the bad picture quality. I took it with my phone, and it was getting kind of dark. More and better pictures to follow.
