| Did anyone hear they released an EP today? It has about five songs off their upcoming CD.

Darn it. I was hoping "If It Wasn't For You" would be on the CD. That's one of the boldest proclamations POD has made since signing with a secular label. Oh well, hopefully it will be "Ya Mama". That song is downright cool.

I was disappointed when I heard the song for myself, seeing as I have no way of getting the EP. Quote: |

| I believe "Ya Mama" was re-worked and renamed (don't know what they renamed it to). "Teachers" was re-worked as well, but kept the working title. |

Why can't you get the EP?
Yeah, "Ya Mama" sounds like a return to the old-school sound with the heavy sound and the rapping. I especially love the live version of "Boom". That was a killer song to put on there.

Bummer. That stinks. If you were to get it, you would love it, I assure you. If they use the song "Ya Mama" on the new CD, that would rock. That songs sounds kinda like a return to their old-school days( Brown days).

| Wow. I actually found four copies of the EP at Walmart of all places.
My mom bought it for me, but I don't get it until Christmas. |

| You'll like it. As for the new CD, it appears they will be going old-school again, with a lot of reggae influence. The rapping is back. Plus, I read in an interview they even used some seven-string guitars to make it sound extremely heavy. It's gonna be the heaviest POD CD yet.
By the way, in case anyone hasn't heard it, they have a new song called "Goodbye For Now" on their purevolume site. It reminds me a bit of "Youth of the Nation" in that it's a slower song than their usual stuff. http://www.purevolume.com/payableondeath

| I just found out that "Teachers" and "If It Wasn't For You" will be on the new album. This is flat-out cool.

It is. Plus the fact that they have Matisyahu, a Hasidic Jew reggae singer and possibly Jonathan Davis from Korn singing on the CD makes it even better.

I've heard Matisyahu sing. He's terrible. And unfortunately, he's on one of the new CD's better songs. I just hope he didn't ruin the final product. Quote: |

I knew that "Teachers" would be on there, but all I've heard is that "If It Wasn't For You" didn't make the final cut. |
