Fallen Kingdom
Entrapings of a light wind
brushing through my hair
I look on toward the horizon
and wonder whose out there
and so I call, freely
My voice travels so insouciantly
why is this place so bare
is there a ruler in there parts?
my sight is limited to these woods
and im utterly alone in my deepest hearts
and so I walk, trudgingly
there is not a soul to behold me
underbrush is frugal here
yet dry trees spring up from dry soil
a steaming pool seems quotidian
as if I birthed it with many years toil
the sky is grey like sadness sent
the trunks of the birch stand militant
no castle,nor fortress or palace wide
the sun isnt here, neither the stars
but im still walking through this world,
staring through cold bars
questions form - interrogating
about this loneliness im feeling
also called life, i wander alone
its a fallen kingdom, hello, home
