This album is awesome. I think that "mistakes we knew we were making" and "cover me" just add to it's length, but overall this album is a great break from alot of the other mediocre albums out there. THis band is not emo, their music isn't what is considered emo at all, (I've never heard of an emo melodic rock band) and their lyrics have some thought put into them. Also, ever seen a picture of the band? You can't honestly tell me they are emo with their hair styles or clothing choice. Back to the album, I must say that besides purely the music, I love the way this album interconnects to itself and transitions, amazing.

I've thoroughly enjoyed it as well.
Question, I've been told that the album tells a story and I'm inclined to believe it, but I'm not sure what story their telling. My friend said it's about a couple who had an abortion.

Any ideas? Does The Everglow tell a story, if so what is the story?

I think the album is mostly just about the evolution of a relationship more than about a specific event. There is some semblance of explanation on wikipedia

Check out my new band, The Morning Glass.

So it's a happy ending rather than a sad one? I've always listened to the entire album and speculated as to what's happening at this point in the story based on the song.
