| I agree, I don't know, she's anal about voices. I, on the other hand, love the band and think this is the best album in my collection.

Makes sense. My former guitar teacher doesn't like Chris Carraba's voice and my cousin hates Tom Delonge's(Blink-182's) voice. Oh well, I still think this guy has the perfect voice for the kind of music he and his band play.
I got the album this evening. It is THE most creative concept for an album ever that I have heard. Beautiful stuff. An easy 10 rating from me.

Whatever genre they are, this is a near-perfect CD.

Tool's Lateralus and Pink Floyd's The Wall, among others, seem to be a little more original and creative. I think that Mae has an interesting philosophy, but it doesn't stand out as much in their music.
True, this is coming from the guy who said this is his favorite album in his collection, but I don't think I'd go so far as to say that it's the most creative concept for an album.

| The Everglow, along with Mae's other CDs, is great. They're even better live. |

| My girlfriend got me this CD for my birthday in March. In my opinion it is the best CD ever, and not just because she gave it to me. |

| I love this album.
I can see why some wouldn't like his voice, at times it annoys me (it really isn't the best, just go listen to him sing live), but it does fit the music well, which is just more evidence of how talented they are. To be able to write music that goes well with his voice.

| i have yet to meet someone who doesn't like this album, i have to buy it.
i heard This Time Is The Last Time, and that song sucks really terribly, so i hope this album isn't like that song.
