Is it just me... or does everyone else think that summer homework has absolutely no value??

Nope not summer school... its like homework they give u at the beginning of summer and tell u that the first day of school thur gonna collect it and grade it... so basically homework over the summmer

Summer work does have a point...Some of my classes my senior year had so much material that it required us to cover the first 3 chapters before school started(test on the first day ). WIth out summer work there would have been no possible way to cover all the material in the depth needed for solid comprehension.

Also, if you're learning a language, summer work will help you not to forget what you've learned during the summer. I've never had been assigned summer work before. It's a rare thing when one will have the same teacher next year.
