We are much obliged. Australia is a very beautiful place. Perhaps you should visit one day?

My dear inclined matt,
You have no idea of my distress and then jubilation at your exit and return.
As an ex-kiwi (though the blood still flows blue) I can say that we (the kiwis) love you too.

EDIT: Yeah, I clicked on it.

Thanks all.

So, if I were to tour the southern hemisphere, what would make my stay more exciting? Which cultural phenom's should I notice (like Canadia's propensity for inserting "eh", or texan's need to shoot things with large handguns)?

While in NZ, you must eat hokey-pokey ice cream. It's my main reason for returning home every few years.

Yes. Until I was 3. Then we moved to Hawaii. Then to Canada / land of the infidel. It's a long story. I was actually born in Auckland (!!!!). We try to go back and visit every 4 years or so, because my Mum's side of the family is over there.
