#4 | | (or 3+4=7) | My Advice:
Go through a newspaper, magizine, or book, Place your finger somewhere, then read the two words your finger falls on.
(i.e. "The Arts" - "Blue Heron" - "Uniforms and Instruments" I know that was three... - "Community Dialogue" - "Black Iron" - "Before Installation"... etc.) Some of those were hallerious. Its better in a music magizine then a newspaper though.
You can get music magizines from " musiciansfriend.com"

| I like to use the random page function on Wikipedia. You get your random article and point your finger at two words.
Heck, use the first words in the names of two wikipedia articles. |

| Well the way to find out if a band name is taken is to google it. My band is called Final Card Random, so our search didn't return much. Yours might be a bit more common. The next thing to do would probably be to check the US Trademark office and see if they've got it for someone else. If you get it trademarked, it's yours. |

| hooray.
my frist post!
my band is Agony of the Cross.
if your looking for an emo band name, make sure you put either a day of the week in it or a fall month.....hehehe........or something relatively sad........hehehe......
for a punk band, put the word "the" in it and then put some random word after that.......like "The Tuxedos".......
hehehe

hehehe | I'm not sure if you're joking in this post or not, but these are really good examples of what not to do when you name your band. If you use some kind of formulaic method to come up with a band name, your music is probably going to be the exact same way. |
