Who the heck is Mara and what's with the large following?
Are we all supposed to know who she is and have some affiliation with her? And are we supposed to note that affiliation in our screen name?

Mara has been a CGR member for about two years now. She moderates two forums. Her mom and aunt have registered on CGR. Is there something else going on with Mara that I've missed?

I mean no disrespect to my daughter, but I don't think she has a following, per se. I think some people like her in here, though.

And for the record, in the language of the young people, she rocks. Which means a lot because I'm not inclined toward partiality even when it comes to my own offspring.

She posted in my journal. That pretty much started her rise to notoriety. You should try it. It will increase your coolness by atleast 3 pts.
