Churchgoer killed by falling cross

Churchgoer killed by falling cross

12.08.05 6.20am

A woman attending a Mass in honour of the local patron saint of a Sardinian village died when a crucifix fell on her.

The 38-year-old was with her two children, aged 9 and 18 months, to celebrate the feast of San Lorenzo, patron saint of Mogorella.

The woman was following the packed service from the steps outside when part of the cornice and a crucifix tore from the facade and fell on her, killing her instantly. No one else was hurt.

Heya,

Is this a joke? I ask simply because it's posted in CPF. Plus, fallinguprocks is posting in it, so it lacks the appearance of being real.

If that's what you honestly meant, then I misunderstood you. I was talking about your earlier post about how God has mysterious ways of ridding his house of hypocrites. The way I read it, that phrase ticked me off.

CPF isn't always funny and about humor you know. I do believe thats what we have an HUMOR FORUM for

I posted it because I thought it was a rathar bizaar situation.... a freak accident and it just so happened to be in a church.

As much as I hate to admit it, if I was there I would be trying not to wonder what she did to be publicly smote. That is the past tense of smite, right? Because I know it's not smited.
