| I... cannot stand the sport or the players. I can't quite put a finger on why that is, it just somehow seems like a womanly sport to me and I know that sounds bad but it is just honestly how I feel. |

| Womanly? Well, that's interesting I can't really hate you for it cause I don't even know what you mean by it (Hate in a figurative sense). |

One that women could do probably just as well as men or close to. See, females genetically have smaller bones and are therefore much more fragile and not able to be quite as strong as men. Don't get me wrong, women can work out and become stronger than many men, but a male athlete should normally be stronger 100% of the time due to that difference in bone thickness. Also, women's pelvic joint is at a greater angle which naturally makes them slower (it is also what causes the natural swing of the hips while walking) and yet again positions the legs in such a way to make impact more dangerous and to lessen strength. This, I hope you see, isn't being chauvenist but is merely stating medically proven facts.
For the same reason that I don't like running as a sport, I don't care for soccer. It does take a great deal of skill and field awareness, I just can't quite get into it though. I guess that's just why American football is the game for me. To play and watch. |

| Ahh, I see By your description of soccer (non-physical) and by what I've watched recently on TV of the world cup, since I ordinarily don't watch soccer: I've a feeling that my "style" of soccer would earn consistent red cards. Since well, I like to roughly tackle anyone in my way...maybe Gaelic soccer is the sport for me (or rugby) |

| I hate soccer. I played it at camp and I kept missing the ball, I have no co-ordination in my legs. |

| I respect your opinion.
I kind of feel the same way about basketball, not that it's womanly, just that it seems kinda weak.

| Soccer Goalkeepers? I was wondering if there are any goalies out there? I am, and I can't find any to talk to about gloves, strategery and whatnot.

| I used to play goalie until I started playing guitar and piano. Just too much risk to my fingers... |

| Right now I have the Nike Tiempo grips (the $30 kind), but i ordered some puma v 1.06's. What kind of style do you play? Do you stay on your line and dive a lot? I come off my line alot and challenge the ball. I'm a little short so I can't really dive too well.
Do you guys follow any leagues? I'm a Manchester United fan in the EPL and a FC Dallas Fan in the MLS. I can't wait to see the new united jerseys. And Shaka Hislop(Trinidad and Tobago nat'l team keeper) is coming to Dallas!!! It's gonna be shweet!

| I have a tendency to dive on absolutely everything, no matter how unnecesary it might be. I just like to dive, I don't really follow any leagues though. |
