Scotland: Celtic, but this is a 50-50 choice anyway. It'll always be one of Celtic or Rangers

Probably Celtic again. I love this league. I wished it was televised here. Gretna had a massive run this last seasons to be promoted to the top league. I hope they do well.

Germany: Bayern should win, and easily just based on who they've signed, but you never know.

They should with all the money they spent. But I don't like them. I like Hamburg SV: van Der Vaart + Zidane! They should give them a run for their money. I don't think Stuttgart will repeat.

Celtic upset AC Milan today. Mostly uneventful match until the last stretch, which included the most hilarious and blatantly fake pieces of acting I've ever seen.

Mourihno left chelski, Gooners are not missing Henry at the moment, and Keano made the best signing of the off-season in Graig Gordon. United had a horrible start to the season and yet are still on second, above citeh, as always.

UCL has had some really interesting results this week. Lots of upsets. and while Man U have started slowly, and had injury probs already, Spurs are the massive disappointment. Man City have really impressed me (even though I'm a Man U fan) and Arsenal look very promising. Derby will go down, that's a definite.

The Celtic-AC game, it was a nice dive by Dida. But it was the stretcher was the crowning glory. Sure, the fan should never have made it onto the field, but it was a lovetap at best.

Yes, Jol better start getting some results soon! I thought they could make a run for the 3rd or 4th spot, they have the talent to.

Sven knows his stuff. Plus they signed good players in Petro and Elano. But, the season's just started. Wait til December and Januray when the pace and game of the Premiership starts affecting them. That's when you'll see what they made of.

Speaking of Lehmann, I did love his rant about Almunia not deserving to be #1 keeper at Arsenal, that he was the man. He's crap right now, and only getting older.

I remember Almunia making a stupid mistake in every match I've seen him play, but the defence bail him out. But Lehmann made two bigger ones that cost a goal against Fulham and 2 points against Blackburn. They should give the young 'keeper they sign from Poland a chance.

Lazy Saturday for football. Only two matches. United defeated Wigan 4-0! Finally, goals and still another clean sheet!

Euro '08 qualifiers. As usual, all attention on overhyped and underachieving England. But Ireland - Germany looks like the only good match.

Not sure I completely agree with you on that one. Probably depends on the match. For example, tomorrow morning Russia are playing England. that'll be a good game. And Germany v Ireland was pretty good.
