Too ADD for stealth games

I play a lot of FPS games, some of which are of the stealthier variety, but my ADD keeps kicking in during gameplay. I just can't sit in those shadows for long. Waiting for that guard to pass by or get to the place I need him just drives me mad. Sometimes I just have to blow my cover and go insane thus ruining my stealth and sometimes even ruining a mission. Does anyone else have this problem or am I just the most impatient person ever?

Don't blame all your problems on ADD. Go listen to an entire opera and train yourself to be patient. Patience must be learned, just like manners or anything else.

I don't avoid operas from lack of patience. I just do not enjoy the opera. Good thing I'm not a super mod. I'd just ban you.

I'm a very impatient person, and a game with too many stealth levels drives me crazy,if it's just every now and then I can do it.I mostly just want to run around blowing stuff up.

You want stealth? Try playing the original Metal Gear. That stuff's hard.

OK, so that kinda had nothing to do with this thread, but still...

No thanx...the semi-stealthy Neo Tokyo level in Timesplitters 2 proved almost too hard for me.

I never said it was too hard. I'd just prefer grabbing a shotgun and some explosives and running into a room blasting away anything that moves.

Sounds like Republic Commando would be a good game for you. Hehe.

Too bad for you, then. There's always something like Total Destruction and Obliteration waiting for you. Then you'll start complaining because you'll realize you're throwing your life away.

Wait, those two reasons pretty much sum up why I hate playing video games.

Well maybe video games hate playing you.

I personally love stealth games, such as Splinter Cell, and such.

What kinda pansy just hides in the shadows?
"Oh! I hope they don't see me so I can come up from behind and break the guys neck!"
Cam'an (come on with strange accent)
I have to go rambo every now an again.

Here is the strategy:
play a few hours of stealth, then bust Armed and Dangerous for a while, then go back.
