I like Ibanez. Their sound and how they feel is what stands out 2 me.

You know, until recently, I would have said Parker, but, alas . . .

Nope. Unless you're referring to the fact that Parker was sold to US Music Corp and they now make cheaper models in addition to the highend models they have always made. Which pretty much puts them in the same category as most of the other major brands mentioned in this thread.

OH, COME ON!!!! A TELE CLONE!?!

The rather Strat-esque Nite-Fly and P Series is one thing, and actually they are pretty cool, but that just sort of crosses the line.

Not only that, but, what, an LP knock-off!?! Strat style is one thing, and that sort of works with the Fly look, but the whole essense of the Fly is getting lost.

And as far as cheap models go, well, what do you think the P series was about? Actually, they were the best economy line I've ever seen, only what really sucks about that is that they also got rid of the best of the P series, the P-38. I recommended that guitar for the longest time as the best starter guitar to get. One of the finest guitars available, bar none. Now, gone.

I don't care who owns the company, only so long as the spirit doesn't change.
