I've always liked U2, and still do... but it may be a temporary thing, but i like coldplay more... sorry

Oh please, stop treating U2 as if they are God. Some people are going to prefer Coldplay. I personally think U2 is the second most overrated band ever. That doesn't make you all morons for liking them better.

Maybe it's just because I've only heard their singles... but all of Coldplay's songs that I've heard sound exactly alike. Seriously. It's like, "Hey, guys! Let's do that nifty little 3+3+2/8 trick again with a repeated little three-note melodic ditty that never ends!"

I'm guessing your reffering to "Clocks", none of the songs in their newest cd sounds like "Clocks"

I mean I guess U2 has been around longer and I should respect them more... but I don't. I mean I like some of their stuff, and it's jammin', but the new coldplay CD is really good. Beats the CRAP out of U2's latest effort.
