That's funny; you're using the Bible as if it were the word of God in trying to make your points.

If you are saying that Jesus is a friend of yours you are implying that you OBEY HIM. If any of us could se Jesus glorified, we would not be familiar with him, we would lie as dead on the ground in fear and respect.
So what is wrong with that? Are you implying that no one could obey him? 1 John2:1-5 and Romans chapter 6 seem to disagree with you if that is what you are implying. Also, Jesus said John 8:36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. - Hence, Jesus said that he could free someone from the bondage of sin. If you serve sin, then you are the slave of sin. This is why Jesus said his yoke is easy and his burden is light, because all you have to do is sincerely repent, and ask God to help you serve him and not sin, by indwelling you. Jesus said he could free people of sin, the apostles seemed to feel the same way. Hence, you shouldn't feel upset if someone says they are a friend of Jesus, unless they have a joint in their mouth while they say this, or commiting some other sin.

Yes all you said is true but to obey Jesus we must obey the Old Testament laws(in my opinion) and hardly anyone does that. Even if you don't believe in that how can you be friendly with him while you are worshiping him with all of your soul, mind, spirit, strength, and will?
I personally disagree with the first sentence due to much of what is said in the new testament, however you may not take the scriptures I would use as canon.
As to your second sentence, do you mind explaining more what you mean by that?
