So uh, wheres my tab?

I submitted my tab TWO weeks ago...I sent a pm 1 week ago...

I read all the topics, and I even asked Gods jedi in a pm what was going on, yet i have no word nor sign that my tab has been viewed.

I wouldn't mind if it got rejected because at least then I could correct it.

I'm not sure if God's Jedi has his Jedi tab power right now. If he does, he may have just been busy and hasn't gotten to it yet. I'd wait for a reply to your PM though. He may have deleted it because it was too similar to the other tab or something (Don't quote me on that I do not know what he did).

Just hold on a bit.

God's Jedi is going through a rough time right now. He's lost three people that were really close to him in the last two months. I talked to him once via pm since then and he was saying that it's been really hard on him and he hasn't had alot of chance to get to his duties here. I think that he would really appreciate our prayers at this time.

I understand the feeling of losing one person, but three must be brutal. If I had known that I would have waited a lot longer.

I had the same prob. Ive been waiting for a good month and a half. I sent GodsJedi a pm but i never got one back... i know its gotta be rough for him but i would really appreciate it if it could be put up soon!!

how much longer must I wait? It's been exaclty a month now, and not even a pm. I am getting very annoyed at how my tab is just being ignored. Please don't make me angry.

Chill... It's just a guitar tab. It's not like it's gonna explode if we don't post it... although that would be a good idea. I've sent a PM to Mickey about some stuff... perhaps if he gets back to me this will get settled soon.

thanks for the help. But I don't want you to think I'm losing my cool over a tab. I'm losing my cool over how my problem is just being ignored by a community that is supposed to be helpful. Even then, I'm still not angry, just annoyed.

Well it's not really being ignored, it's just that a total of two people have the ability to validate your tab. Micky, who is very busy with the issues of the entire website, and God's Jedi, which we haven't heard from recently.

I'm sorry for the inconvience, if there was something that I could do, I would.

The fact that we've replied to this thread tells you that it's not being ignored. There's just nothing we can do. Sorry, but if you think about it its not really that big of a deal. It's just a guitar tab.

I've waited, I've been patient, I've bid my time.

There is no excuse that I will accept. There is no reason why I've been ignored. I've done all I can, can't say I know if the admins what they could.

oh well. You guys are right, it's not a big deal when my one tab is ignored, but I'm curious as to how many others that are also being ignored along with mine. Oh well, like you guys said, it's no big deal.

I don't understand why you're taking this so hard. It's a guitar tab... I think someone's rough personal life is much more important than a guitar tab. I've also PMed Mickey about it, but he's bogged down with all of his normal admin stuff and his life, that he hasn't had time to do much. It WILL be taken care of.

I'm sorry, but I think guitar tabs should definitely take a back seat to someone's real life.

Ya, I've been waiting for quite a while myself. I can understand the difficulties someone is going through right now but if they can't carry out their duties right now then they need to have someone replace them. This is a guitar tab website. That means the guitar tabs should be a priority. I also know no one has sent in the same tab as I have becuase I don't see it, and I haven't even gotten a reply back either.

If nobody steps up to the plate to take care of the tabs there's still nobody to validate it. Since all the work done on this site is volounteer it's a little difficult to delegate the responsibility. Your tabs will be gotten to in due time when either the artist is given to someone else or God's Jedi gets to it.

As I have said, I've PMed Mickey about it and it will be taken care of, but he too is bogged down with stuff. I realize you guys have worked hard on the tabs and you want them up for people to see, but like Chris said, all the work done on the site is volunteer. Just be thankful that there is a place like this for your tabs to be displayed and people that are willing to do extra work outside of their lives in order to get your tabs up there. They will be taken care of in due time.
