Yeah, I haven't heard anything bad about Brave New World. Even one of my friends that absolutely HATES reading loved that book.

I was very much into dystopian novels at the end of junior high and beginning of high school. I read quite a few of them and Brave New World was always at or near the top of my list of favorites in that genre. 1984 was no slacker either, but I definitely got more into Brave New World (even though 1984 had more of an impact on me, if that makes sense).

I must say that Great Expectations and The Crucible (i hate rading plays) nearly bored me to tears. i think the only reason we finished great expectations was because i read it in freshman year and somebody decided to start reading it like they were playfully scolding a bad puppy.. it was funny. try reading any sentance with that type of emphasis on your words.
