| Best Movie Scenes I nominate....
1. the window seat scene with Danny Kaye and Vera-Ellen from White Christmas
2. The "I love you" "I know" scene with Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher from The Empire Strikes Back
3. the dancing scene with Deborah Kerr and Yul Brynner from The King and I
What about you?

| 1) When the crowd chants "Rudy, Rudy, Rudy" and the little guy gets in the game for Notre Dame.
2) In Dead Poets Society when Robin Williams students stand up on their desks in defiance.
3) The end of Cool Runnings where they carry the bobsled across the finish line.
An odd combination, but the first three I thought of. |

| It's a song -- actually, an orchestral arrangement and it's the theme to a movie, which plays at the climax of it. I would like, tell you what it sounds like, but that would kinda give it away, and also, it's kinda hard to type out the way an orchestral arrangement sounds, 'ya know??

| Yeah, that scene from Dead Poet's Society is great. And the scene from Return to Me, where he comes all the way to Italy to tell her he loves her. And the music that is playing during that scene is SO great, it makes me want to cry. |

| My favorite scene from any movie is the "Rahad Jackson/Sister Christian" scene from Boogie Nights. Film-making doesn't get much better than that. |

| Off the top of my head...
Jerry MacGuire's phone talk with Rod Tidwell. "Congratulations, you're still my agent." Actually, the end of that movie as well. I was a sucker for the "you complete me" scene, but I love the interview scene even more.
The Shawshank Redemption. The whole thing
Erin Brockovich. The which phone number scene.
Lord of the Rings. "You shall not pass!"
Wow, so many good ones. |

Ever After: Henry "I came to rescue you" then proposes to her. it's so sweet. awwwwwww.
Lord of the Rings: Combination between Moria and Weathertop, also the long-expected party. I just love those scenes.
Star Wars Ep. 2: I love the colleseum scene. Totally awesome.
The Princess Bride: The part when they're in the boat and Indigo keeps looking back at the boat. So funny.

| The Matrix - The lobby fight scene
The Matrix - The training simulator scene w/ Neo and Morpheus
Saving Private Ryan - the opening scene (sorta) on the beach in Normandy.
T2 - the scene where Linda Hamilton is running from the guards in the mental ward, and she runs to the elevator and The Terminator (Arnold) walks out and she just freaks out. The slo-mo is cool too.
Independence Day - The President's Speech
The Shining - "Here's Johnny!!"

| A Walk To Remember when Mandy Moore sings Only Hope.
And also when Landon proposes to Jamie.
Pretty much any scene from A Walk To Remember gets my vote. |

| In my opinion, it was nearly criminalistic to allow Mandy Moore to sing Only Hope. |
