| Outer Space! I got Demigod yesterday. This might be my new favorite game next to Supreme Commander which all week was my new favorite game.
My girlfriend came over and helped me get started organizing. I still have a ways to go, but at least I can move around now.
I might be trying out with one band that my roommate is in and is getting back together. I am definitely getting a Progressive/metal project going right now. Concept albums are being discussed and fully explored.
Life is good except for the lack of money. Ax, we need to get this amp business started soon. |

| So as I've been playing more and more Demigod, I find myself disappointed by the multiplayer aspect. The game's matchmaking will add AI's to a team in the tournament ladder if there's not a full team, and these AI's seem to be set on easy mode, because all they do is feed. And feeding is bad. Feeding gives the opponents loads of money and XP. Like, honestly, if I'm going online, then I want to play with people, not with computers. There's single player mode for that. But, hopefully more people will start playing and then this won't need to happen, or they'll just get rid of that problem completely right now.
Life is going well. Still no job. Still looking. |

| When I moved, I met plenty of new people. Like seriously. Tons. And all of them are really cool. This is a great place to live. One of the new people I know is connected with a local freeroll poker league as a dealer. This league sells its dealers poker kits containing cards, chipsets, a button, and a timer for $140. I used to run an online store before the recession and I still have my distributor paid for through february, and I found that I can actually assemble a dealer's kit that competes with that price and still makes me some nice profit. So, this guy is going to talk with the powers that be with the numerous poker leagues around here and see if he can get me an endorsement to be a recommended retailer of poker supplies for their dealers/members. I could be able to fully re-open my store and make use of this distribution network, and make some extra money to boot. As long as I stay professional about it and make sure my prices stay competitive, then I'm good to go. If I am able to make more money with this, I may end up looking for a less expensive distribution network. Drop-ship services are great, but I could greatly increase my profit margin with a standard distributor. I just have to get to that point where I can afford to keep inventory before I can do that. |

I really hope it works out. I'm seriously this close to selling drugs (joking) or something, because there's still no work around where I am. That's really the main reason I want to hurry along this project as much as possible, because as soon as we DO turn a profit, I have a feeling things are going to get much easier for me.

| UPDATE:
First off, the people I was going to have move in when my roommates leave has pulled out. I'm hoping I can convince him to change his mind, as he does HATE where he's living now but would be able to put twice as much into savings living there ($500 instead of $250) than he would if he moved here. If I can't find someone else, I'm stuck with a $1000 lease in my name in october.
Secondly, I've almost finished the first version of the Necropolis Amplifications Footswitch/Effects Loop. We are definitely working with Cat-V cable because it will faithfully transmit both electronic and audio signals, but I've had a few limitations working with only eight connection points (four pairs) to cover four channels AND an effects loop, which when you think about it seems to need ten connection points total. And I've had the task of fitting that into eight, making five circuits into four. Well, my first thought was to use digital switching with software. Unfortunately, that's going to be too expensive to develop, and not to mention its smart to keep things simple. There's a simpler method that I've been avoiding involving three switches for the channel and one for the loop, and that seems to be the way its going to be. I won't post the schematics until we have patents, but I am more than happy to talk about our design and how truly amazing this thing is going to be. After this switch, I have the task of aesthetics coupled with as much assistance as I can provide involving our preamp and poweramp schematics, which are nearing completion.
EDIT: I think I can build a logic circuit that will only utilize a total of seven pins if I pretend that there are no "pairs", instead that there is one input, four outputs, one empty cable, and one pair for a total of eight. Not sure if this is feasible.

| This has nothing to do with anything youve posted, but...
After seeing your avatar, I kind of want to do that at the next metal show I go to.
I just need to go to MW and get a suit, and find a StormTrooper helmet in my size.
Good luck on your stuff dude, praying for ya.

Good luck on your stuff dude, praying for ya. | Dude, I want to get one of those big bands together to all wear white suits with white ties and stormtrooper helmets (modified to allow for instrument playing), except the singer, who will have a red tie. It would be hilarious. |

| I spent the past five days learning about Class AB amplifiers, full-wave rectifiers, and transformers, and I must say, I feel smart. I've got a preliminary power amp and power supply for the ND, but to be honest I think its too complex. Its basically a slightly modded copy of a JCM800 power amp. I think I can simplifiy it and keep the effectiveness of it, to be honest, so I'm about to spend more time learning even more about Class AB amplifiers. |

| It probably took me a few more years than it should have, but I finally made my first resume. Its very simple, and has no cover letter yet, but I have a few versions of it depending on where I would submit it. I've used it applying for a temp position soldering and assembling electronic things and for a few call centers. I'm going to make some phone calls tomorrow to check on those.
Other than that, things are going decently well. Ax and I are getting really close to finishing the Natural Disaster. On the side, I'm working on a secret project that isn't going to be revealed for a while. All we're going to say is that its going to be a smaller amp.

| Its 6 AM. I'm awake because my roommate's dog was whining and barking at 5:30. He doesn't pay to live here because he's down on his luck and we're helping him out and stuff, but honestly if he's not going to be here to take care of his dog at night, I'm going to get really pissed off if I get woken up like this again. His dog is really awesome, but he's not mine, and I'm not going to put clothes on at 5:30 AM and walk him, feed him, or pay him attention. Its just not my responsibility. |

| Since you consider his dog awesome, you should at least describe what type it is. I mean, some dogs aren't very awesome simply because of their breed despite how much character they have.

| Today's the day our roommate leaves for Ohio. This will give us some space in the living room, but we'll miss him. I have to restring one of my guitars today. I lost my string winder. I am really not looking forward to doing this without a winder, but its gotta get done so I can use it with the HT-5. If you didn't see the Amps forum, I got a Blackstar HT-5 Mini-stack yesterday, which I highly recommend. That's really about it. I'm about to go to bathroom and shower and hope I don't throw up again this morning. |
