I might be buying a drumkit in a few weeks, and I live with a really talented bassist now, so chances are once I get my recording rig up and running there's going to be some amazing stuff for you to listen to.

Not really. I mean, it will be capable of a Vox-like tone, but its not modeled after a Vox. Think a Bogner Fish preamp through a Marshall JCM900 power section with a few choice mods. Now imagine a crap-ton of really awesome extra features that we're designing (but not revealing yet because we are unsure if we will be able to do them or not), and imagine it looking incredibly awesome. That's what we're building. CGR will most assuredly be updated once we successfully prototype so you, Jon, can place your order (you know you will). Also, once we finalize our plans and decide on a definite feature set we'll be more willing to talk about it and spread some hype.
Dude, the Tornado channel will be pure Vox tone... I don't like the original channel there so i'm gonna mod it just a bit so that it has less mid boost and is a bit brighter... Meaning pure vox. The biggest setbacks right now are that I can't find an OT anywhere capable of this and funds...

I am now completely moved out of my old place. The brand new desk that a maintenance guy put together right in front of me is completely screwed. It will not last. It is that maintenance guy's fault, and they are going to try and charge me for it. I am so glad to be out of there and in a place with my own furniture and really badass roommates so I don't have to deal with this crap anymore. I'm a little irritated right now for no good reason because thats just how life is these days.
Why is it that these fools are soo freaking retarded at every place. The one at my friend's apartment put his disposal unit together with clotheshanger and duct tape.

I vaguely remember you saying something about this I think. I also vaguely remember agreeing this was a brilliant idea. I wish I still had my chat logs from when I was still on Ubuntu. Regardless, this amp is going to be KILLER when we're finished!

Man, I have more than enough retarded management stories from my old place. Too many. WAY too many.

So I just got a table and chair, so my "desk" is no longer a stack of boxes and a cooler. My new mattress is being delivered tomorrow, as well, and it was QUITE a deal. $1700 mattress for $350 because it was scratch and dent. Its like sleeping on a cloud or something. Its perfect. I can't wait.

Seems like you got a good deal on the mattress. I'm a little intrigued at how you can get one that's a scratch and dent. I've never known a mattress to get scratched. Dented usually comes after they get broken down a little.

Well, scratch and dent is actually a universal industry term, apparently. Anything that was damaged in the manufacturer's warehouse or in shipping from there to retail is considered "scratch and dent." There's a tiny cosmetic scuff on one side of the mattress that's enough to prevent it from being sold for $1700, and it just so happened to be on sale at a place that specializes in scratch and dent bedding. Its coming today at some point between now and 2. I'm ecstatic.

That's what I figured....I just didn't know that they used the term across all industries. Regardless, has it arrived yet? I can't imagine spending $1700 on bedding, but of can comprehend $300. Of course, it's probably because I've never bought any of mine so I'm a little biased.

Nope. Sealy Posturepedic.

I'm mostly settled in at this point. I still have some boxes in my car, and there are still things boxed up in my new closet, but things are going well. I like living here. These roommates are much more open to things than my last ones. My last ones are good friends and all, but like, this place is like one big family, and that feels nice.

Freaking sweet, I used to live with three dudes, two of which I didn't even know. Sucked big time.

It's always a positive to be ale to get along well with the people that you're rooming with. I was in a similar situation. Great friends, but I'm glad we've moved on. Now I'll be living by myself this fall. The best roommate situation possible.
