JC_music, it doesn't need to be taken to PM, it's fine.

It's a concept album, buddy. That song is just one part of the story. Listen to the album straight through and you will see what I mean. Anyway,Mike Skinner pwns Dream Theater anyday.

You remind me of how I was in 6th/7th grade. I thought rap and pop sucked and punk, ska, and classic rock were the only good genres of music.

This would include.. a good drummer/guitar player/bass player/any other instrument/and even an awesome singer, none of which includes Outkast or Jay-Z. Talented musicians = Talented at something that requires talent, not rapping.
You just became musically ignorant in my book.

Eh say what you will.. still doesn't make up for the fact that theres very very little talent in rap. Personal opinion and it won't change until I hear evidence otherwise.

I know how its supposed to be spelled.. but the band's name is Dream Theater, not Dream Theatre.

Oh, but there is talent in rap. There is evidence, it just seems like you don't want to accept it. But the whole "rap vs. rock" argument is pointless.

JC_music07, have you listened to the Gorillaz at all? Or Blackalicious? Both are pretty decent in my opinion, and I have never been a huge fan of rap.

Look at pretty much any song off of Original Pirate Material, man! You'll find all the lyrical genius you need.

I believe you'll find that both are acceptable uses, however spelt is usually seen as the incorrect spelling.

No...I just don't care for pretentious wanking unless it's done by gentlemen named Squire, Bruford, Wakeman, and Howe.

I suppose these are MUCH better?

Lost in the sky
Clouds roll by
and I roll with them
Arrows fly
Seas increase
and then fall again

This world is spinning around me
This world is spinning without me
Every day send future to past
Every breath leaves me one less
to my last

Watch the sparrow falling
Gives new meaning to it all
If not today nor yet tomorrow
then some other day

I'll take seven lives for one
And then my only father's son
As sure as I did ever love him
I am not afraid
