A kinda weird question

Hey there.. How can being two weeks or so in the army affect your voice?
Things like screaming "Go go go " and "Sir, yes sir!" and "Attention!!", and stuff like that :P

-this will dammage your voice, but if you're young you should heal up fairly quickly.
-tonally it should have no effect. you'll just sound raspier and it will hurt to sing until it heals. you won't be able to do warmups, and not doing warmups hurts your tone, but you can always get back to where you were before you left by doing warmups.
-diaphragmatically i'm not sure. it seems as if you would get into the habit of using your throat to force out air. it's not too hard to get back into the habit of diaphragmatic breathing though.
i dunno. all this stuff can't help your voice, but i don't think any permanent dammage would occur.

If screaming is unavoidable, at least make sure to scream in a comfortable range. Don't try to scream too high or low-pitch.
Limit your singing if you're doing excessive yelling or screaming.
And as always, drink plenty of water; olive oil also does wonders for your throat.
