oh yeah, I forgot to put our show this past year: Awayday (look it up, I think the Blue Devils played it awhile back) Hunting Wabbits (some concert piece our director adapted, not too bad) and Feelin' Good (Michael Buble, AWESOME trumpet solo).
for concert competition this year we're doing Be Thou My Vision (David Gillingham), Gumsucker's March (Grainger, yes!), and Overture to Candide (Bernstein). It's a pretty cool compilation, but challenging.

I play first trumpet in the ELCO high school marching band. We did a James Bond show this past year that my band director adapted from recordings. The show included: James Bond Theme song (007), From Russia With Love, Goldfinger, and Live and Let Die. It was a pretty exciting show. Lots of high notes for the trumpets.
