| I would say Sufjan Stevens, but you already listen to him. I've heard that Over the Rhine are Christian Folk but I've never listened to them so I can't really say.

| I would say People You Meet. They have sort of ceased to exist, though. |

Are you looking for indie music and folk music, or folk indie music? If it's the latter, I'd recommend Aaron Sprinkle right off the bat. Another acoustic album I like is Chris Staples's (formerly of twothirtyeight and now the one-man band Discover America) Blackest Hair, Bluest Eyes.

| Pierce Pettis (folkish-country singer-songwriter extraordinaire)
Kemper Crabb (medievalist, multi-instrumentalist; find him at MagnaTune)
Derek Webb (the obvious choice, for me; first album = bluegrassy; second album = atmospheric)
Andrew Peterson (I've only heard his Christmas album, but... let's just say it's the best Christmas album ever)
The Lost Dogs (more old-school twangy country than anything, but still)
I also second Over The Rhine... emphatically.
Kemper Crabb is really the only true indie on that list, but I wasn't sure what you meant by that anyway.
In His love,
Nate

| Jay Farrar...but he's not a Christian (as far as I know). Still, Terroir Blues is a really cool album. |

| I also like Ashley Cleveland, though she's certainly not indie at all.
I picked up two Jan Krist albums tonight for like $2 each at my local Christian bookstore. Pretty neat stuff. Along the lines of Cleveland and Pettis and others in their vein.
