And for the rest of your life."

#33 | | Dragon of Spirit | what? do you enjoy movies with a bunch of chases and stuff blowing up? No shame in that. I do too. But you've gotta balance it with something that actually takes skill from the writers and actors.

"Chase" and "blow up stuff good" films are my second favorite type of film. I'm a huge Bay and Waters fan. Quote: |

| I've watched many films from the era, and the acting is always the main flaw- dark Film Noirs probably being the exception. IMO, judging from the many films I've seen from those years, the first great performance was by Gloria Swanson in Sunset Blvd., until Elizabeth Taylor's performance in Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolf? practically shattered almost every other performance by an actress before in an American film- though Giuletta Masina's performance in Nights of Cabiria is IMO the best performance from that era. And actors, the performance by the little kid in The Bicycle Thief was better than most of Hollywood's lead actors of the time. Btw, I'm keeping it very mainstream. There are far better performances in neo-realist films and the work of Ozu, Rossellini, Mizoguchi- heck, even in Maya Deren's if you're into that sort of...thing.

It's just grossly misquoted. | Hehe, I was waiting for someone to notice that. |

I admit that that's probably just because I love the movie so much, though. |

Should be number 1.
