Ooooooooooo a bass lead would be interesting. Go for it !! As for which bass line to use.....I'll probably use yours, so I can add a guitar lead. I don't want to dominate this entire recording. Of course, I could always alternate your bass and my bass. Once I get everything, I'll see how things work in the mix.

Remember, I have no ego, so add whatever you want and I'll try to make it work. Think about doing some lead runs on the bass that I could play harmony to on another bass. That sounds interesting !! LOL

Man, it's hard to make a bass solo. I'm just used to keeping rhythm, dang.

Yeah. I think I'll pass on the bass solo. It's just too hard. I'm used to keeping the beat and doing runs, but not a full, blown-out solo.

Wow, sorry that I haven't gotten that solo thing, I haven't gotten around to it yet, heh. I might have time today, but tomorrow is a better bet.

Is it to late to jump in?

If not, here's my (weak) attempt at a lead:

Awesome BlessedNinja !!!!!!!!

I have you on file now. Hopefully we'll get others to get in on the action. So far, I just have:

1 Bass Line (Decency)
1 Acoustic Solo (DaGeek)
2 electric solos (BlessedNinja : Dave H)

We'll see if others get involved........

So does that mean I still need to separate my solo from the backtrack?

Guys I will give it a shot . My recorder is down so I had to impromize here . I recorded the backing track to my Mini Disk then ran it into my mixer and recorded the solo live . I`m using a Carvin Bolt and my MTS half stack micing off into the board and mixing it all into the computer using my sound blaster card . It`s raw and a total live off the cuff mix as I can`t multi track with my present set up . It`s quite a primitive recording set up but maybe it will work here ya go .

Here is another take this time I used my Bolt through my Fender Prosonic and recorded off one of the Celesitan G12T 75 in my 2/12 cab . I think the Fender had a smoother true Blues solo tone that the more metal orented, agressive and grainier Carvin MTS .
