| Heya,
There was a good thread on Scientology a while back. Try a search, Daniel, it's pretty darn interesting. It's sad and helarious at the same time, that it is.

| Ugh, ugh, UGH.
Can't I leave this place alone and talk to Art for ONE hour without all of you guys at each other's throats?!?!
Honestly. I'm sick of this.
I thought some lessons had been learned these past few days, lessons about watching what you say, whether they be in jest or in anger.
Apparently that was not the case.
I will be cleaning up your messes and reopening this in a bit. I do NOT want to see any more ganging up on anyone, ANYONE, in this thread. Preferably not anymore in CPF, for that matter.
For the last time now, watch your mouths, guys. As has been pointed out earlier in this thread (but may soon be deleted in my pruning), individual CGRers are NOT God. However... we are representatives of Christ's love to each other. Are our posts showing evidence of His love? Whether in jest or in correction, edification or even occasionally out of ignorance, ask yourselves before you post, am I being a proper representative of Christ? (Yes, this goes for me, too. Don't think I'm exempt.)

| *puts her Deletestick away and reopens the thread, keeping her eye on it...*
Scientology is a cult that teaches you falsities in exchange for stealing your money. Bad news.

| Feel free to abuse your mod powers pull out the "deletestick" again, if you like.

It seemed like there was quite a bit of that going on in this thread before your pruning, to which mrs. claw responded by going ape-**** in a fit of conviction or something.

Neither does reacting in a way that does not communicate love when someone does something offensive strike me as something I'd want my fellow Christians doing.
Don't forget the Golden Rule in all of this.

He did Bible-thumping, but it was never to one-up the pharisees, it was only because he loved them with a never-ending love. No human person is capable of that. I'm sorry.
and i'll shut up now, and go count paint lumps again. |

Forget reopening dead threads. I've learned a lesson here, too.
