| Hmm... would the Simpsons ever work as a movie? I have my doubts. |

| Me too.
I didn't really like the Spongebob Squarepants movie because it seemed to have a very different feel from the series. But who knows? Perhaps it could work? Either way I'm anticipating it's release, however far away that may be |

| I'll see it even though I too have doubts. One of the best things about the series is the random plot lines that shift within a half hour. It's great for those of us with short attention spans. Although I'd be completely open to watching the entire 5th season on DVD in one sitting, I've never felt like any one of the episodes should go longer or that a movie should be made from it..... but that doesn't mean I won't go see it when it comes out |

| This could either be the world's best movie or the world's worste movie. I shall be hoping for the first choice.

| I think it will work because they're using the same writers. The show is brilliant and I think the writers will cook up something worth while.

| Oh no...
The show hasn't been good for a long time and I fear the movie will likewise fail. |

| I'm kinda opposed to this for the same reasons as everyone else. I really don't see how the wonderfully quirky random plot lines could work in a longer format. They work beautifully in the 30 minute timeframe, but I have my doubts about anything longer. |
