| New China Cymbal... New China Cymbal... At the Guitar Center Memorial Day sale I picked up a Sabian 19 inch Paragon China cymbal (otherwise known as the best China cymbal ever made) for $160 that was a savings of over $40.
Yay for me.

Yay for me. | Is that the one with the wide flange? I hit one of those the other day, and it was great. I'm not really a china guy, but I love that cymbal. Super trashy, and not too much of those gong-y overtones most chinas have.

| It can be very loud if you want it to be... It is by far the loudest thing on my kit. Yet, it can also be a subtle dark background wash.

| If I had money to blow on my kit, drum heads, then crash cymbals, then toms, then another bass (two basses instead of a double pedal), then maybe one of these china cymbals.
IOW, I will never have one, but it sounds cool.

I now have all high end Sabian HH, AAX, AA, Paragon. 3 crashes, hi-hat, ride, splash, and now china.
