| Well, I have to say I Love surfing! It's like running on water...except not.. but anyway it is like the coolest thing ever..and it's summer so I'm giong to go all the time with my church!! I live in FL so....It rains all the time..arg  |

  | I surf. I own a 6'4", 7'2", and a 12'2" my uncle gave me. I love the beach, unfortunatly I dont get to surf that often cause of work/college/band/church things.

| I want to try Skimboarding when I go down to Galveston this Fourth of July. Pardon my ignorance, but how do I do it? Do I just basically throw the board in front of me and jump on it? That's what I've seen people do but I wasn't sure. -Kenny |

| well theres two ways of doing it there is the n00b way which is throwing it down and just riding paralel to the water and the pro way which is somewhat like this (images attached) which is what i prefer but is somewhat dificult and must have correct conditions

| Yeah, I saw a Skimboarding video a few days after I wrote that. I think that I'll eventually try to actually go into the wave. Will my skateboarding,snowboarding, and wakeboarding experience help any? -Kenny |

 | Does windsurfing count? Cause I like that a lot. I have some friends who I work with who also go kitesurfing. That's pretty cool. I was driving the boat for one of them last summer.
