I'd agree, especially a bullet wound hitting in that portion of the frontal bone of the skull. Heck, it could even be in the suture connecting the frontal bone with the nasal bone and we KNOW that should look a heck of a lot different than that. I guess the makeup artist was a little squimish when doing her/his research for this particular scene.
