| anyone going/been to vertigo tour? just wondering if anyone here is going to see or has been to see U2 this tour?
I really want to but didn't manage to get tickets when they went on sale. i do keep checking ticketmaster in case they put more on!
I've been avidly following the setlists etc. on interference.com and have downloaded quite a few bootlegs as well - great stuff!

God Bless, Rich | I wasn't able to score tickets either. I too collect bootlegs. Do you have the boot from the last night of Chicago? Best recording so far, and they played Until The End Of The World! Best bootleg site ever: eyeofthefly.net

God Bless, Rich | I'm still waiting for a good soundboard recording for this tour. Hopefully one will pop up soon.

| some of the audience ones are pretty impressive though!
I've got the Pheonix 2 one (i think it's that one) and it's not far off the quality of the sound on the Elevation DVD
I'm listening to a ZOO TV show from London at the moment, I think Bono's gone crazy! great stuff

God Bless, Rich | Where did you get Pheonix 2?
I love ZooTV shows. Almost as much as Elevation (my favorite tour). I just got an amazing quality Joshua Tree concert; it's amazing.
Can't wait for the Chicago DVD. I guess it won't be out until christmas, though.

| I got it from www.U2torrents.com I think
I'm looking forward to the Vertigo DVD too, I've seen a few short clips and the stage/lighting looks really impressive, like Elevation but a lot more colourful is the impression I get!
Which JT concert have you got? I haven't got any from that tour, I've got a couple of the Point Depot gigs from December 1989, they are good shows.

I think it was remastered by one of the guys at eyeofthefly.net. It might still be uploaded if you want to grab it.
I've got the Point Depot gigs too, those are excellent. I've always like Lovetown shows. Quote: |

It was! They did snippets of other songs too before bringing it all back home and ending.
We were stage right in row sixteen, more than close enough to easily see facial expressions Oh, we were about halfway down the elliptical stage. |

I got some really good pictures, I'll post them here soon along with a decent review
