Free frosty survey

Did anyone go and get a free frosty at wendys this past weekend? I'm bored out of my mind and just curious.

I once got a free slurpee. But it was melted. And the garbage that it had been laying in sort of tainted the flavor.

i got a free frostee...although i didn't believe it at first. it was too good to be true...but it was true! which makes it even better...things were going so awesomely until alas, the mother called and the going home had to begin. otherwise, multiple other locations would have been hit in within the hour.

I have had a free iced coffee/icecream drink (forget the name) from Baskin Robins before.

These kind of giveaways are very smart marketing strategy. Two things happen.

1. People try the item for the first time. They enjoy it. They come back for more, this time paying. And we all know that the Wendy's Frosty is uber delicious.

2. People come in for the free item, look at the menu and get hungry. Or, they figure that they will just eat dinner there, because there is a free item. Badda bing.

that thing was the size of a stupid gimmick and that's what it was!

Ever since Dave Thomas passed away and stopped doing the commercials, they needed a gimmick and Mr. Wendy (AKA Captain Loserpants) couldn't do it. But! Free Frosty can!

For the record, I didn't get one.

I had a free ice cream cone at Baskin Robbin's a while ago.

I meant to go get the free frosty, but sadly, did not.

If I had known there were free Frosties, I would have gone to Wendy's. Alas, I knew not.
