I don't know if he is a christian or not but I use to look up to his guitar playing. I have found another guitar player that isn't afraid to claim christ. Still, Tremonti is a freaking machine on guitar.

he is not christian. he said one time in an interview that he doesnt believe that a loving god would make you choose your destiny, he would just give it to you if you loved your god. its the only thing that kills me about tremonti. and im a huge huge fan of his. look at my name. hes my main guitar inspiration. but neways, creed isnt a christian band and really shoouldnt be on this website.

Actually i think Mark is spiritural, im not sure about being a Christian, but i have to blame people like Sean that is running his mouth about him not being a Christian, i read a interview with Mark and he said yes Stapp does write about Biblical principles but he had it shoved down his throat as a kid so it became natural to him. so i have to say that i see a million times that someone was uprooted in his faith in Christ because someone "holier than thou" because they say stuff like "if God wanted us to know He would have put it in the Bible" or "he has had the chances to and he dont say anything about Christ... thats not someone you want to look up to...." qoutes like that make those weak in faith fall out im sick of people running their mouths when about otehrs Christian walk if Mark is a CHrisitan good, if not its cause of people shoving the Word down his throat

I do not endorse the way I made those statements FIVE YEAR AGO. I don't need to have an aggressive heart towards someone who needs grace.

However, I do hold the basic premise of what I was saying. Why would I believe someone is a Christian if they've never done anything to indicate they're a Christian? That just seems like common sense. Don't walk around assuming things about people. Particularly when the person has had multiple opportunities to set the record straight and they haven't, it just doesn't make sense to believe something which is contrary to their words.

Of course, whether he's a non-Christian or weak in the faith, neither of those situations warrant hostility towards him. So throwing around terms like pansy wasn't the most appropriate attitude to take.

In an older documentary, the band stated that they are ALL christians. I'll have to find the source for some of you in denial, but I remember it being stated.

Also, there are a lot of presumptuous statements from all sides. Mark's relationship with God is between HIM AND GOD. Not any of us are with him 24/7, and while some of us don't think he is a christian because he doesn't put Jesus in very sentence of an interview doesn't accumulate to anything. The fact of the matter is; We all screw up and do stupid things... Yes, even christians do. The only difference is the amplified conviction that Christ places in us that would insinuate a more Godly way of carrying oneself. That seems to be a very broad and sad misinterpretation of christians. Saying one is spiritual is NOT denying Christ, it would be ridiculous to think so. To be honest, most of the time when some one asks me if I'm a christian, I simply say "I've been saved by grace through faith" and if the situation permits I'll go into further detail. So many christians out there today give that title an ill advised concept.

Maybe Mark uses his ministry in a different way other than music? And with that being said, maybe he prefers the term "spiritual" because of the misinterpretation of Creed over the years. And if not that, perhaps he's having some spiritual struggles? Yes... christians can have those as well. I deemed it fair to pose these questions as it seems he's been thrown into this "lost" category because he doesn't exceed the personal "christian" standards of others. He's actually a VERY reserved artist and keeps to himself in the public eye.

So,

• If he's not flamboyent in his beliefs... It doesn't make him a lost soul

• And like I said, none of us are constantly with him. He could be using his beliefs in a different way. It's not fair to him to assume something of him because he doesn't carry himself in a pentecostal manner.

• Innocent until proven guilty

• Only God knows a mans heart

• Finally, it's Mark's relationship with God.
