Celebs

I was watching a show on VH1 today about Celebreties and Paparizzi and it got me thinking to how much of an impact it was on them.

They were saying how they were shocked by some of the anger the celeberties had when the photographers asked them to pose. Now think about it. You walk out of your house, there's paparizzi, you go eat lunch, there's paparazzi, you can't even go swimming in your pool without getting a photo taken. Don't you think they'd get irritated after awhile?

This whole thing got to me when I was just now watching Full House. The Olsen twins more speccificly. They've been involved in entertainment for so long, that they are probably have been surrounded by paparazzi most of there lives! No wonder why Ashley Olsen (Correct me if that's the wrong Olsen) had an eating disorder!

Eh, just ranting.

Thoughts?

Mary Kate had the eating disorder.

I watch these shows occasionally, as well. I absolutely hate how people say "oh, well, they're famous, so they have absoltuely no right to privacy." It seems to have gotten a lot worse in the past decade or so. It's gone from just bugging the people as they're leaving their homes or restaurants to tormenting their children. For people like you and me, this is considered "stalking". I don't know how such a double standard has formed in this country.

Of course there are some celebreites whose entire career relies on the papperazzi and gossip mags, because they never really do anything.

But I would hate the lack of privacy and I can understand why some get cranky. A successful movie actor is just successful at their job, they havn't given their lives open slather to the public. In fact their success comes from pretending to be other people!

I think it is really horrible when they put the celeb's families in the papers when they have asked for them not to. Like picutres of them and their kids on vacation. It is wierd how the law is totally thrown out for them, but you have to get permission to use "normal" people in movie clips or photos.
