MY NAME IS TIM, AND I AM CANADIAN!

Hey,
I am not a lumber jack or a fur trader,
and I don't live in an igloo or eat blubber or own a dog sled,
and I don't know Jimmy, Sally or Suzie from Canada although I am certain they're really really nice, uh
I have a Prime Minster not a president.
I speak English and French, not American, and I pronounce it about, not a boot.
I can proudly sew my country's flag on my back pack,
I believe in peace keeping not policing, diversity not assimilation,
and that the beaver is a truly proud and noble animal.
A toque is a hat, a chesterfield is a couch.
And it is pronounced zed, not zee, zed.
Canada is the second largest landmass,
the first nation of hockey,
and the best part of North America, my name is Tim, and I AM CANADIAN!
Thank You.

Greatest beer commercial ever!

That was as Canadian as hockey, beer, and donuts.

Molson needs to get a clue.

And I can (and eventually will) proudly sew my countries flag onto my backpack, along with my California and Nevada state EMT patches.

I've learned that people are nicer to you if you speak their language, regardless of your country of origin.

I plan to steal Kyle when I go to Europe anyhow.

I had my friends convinced once that we had to rent a dog sled when we go back up to Canada. And it is funny to see how many people actually think Canadians live in igloos. They also think that it is cold all the time and get so much more snow, but Toronto, Kitchener, and Waterloo, where my family is from, gets just as much snow as what we do in my town in Indiana.
