I'm

so tired of my some people that can only worship God in 1 hour periods. and cut out songs because the sermom was longer. i can't find the delete key so sermom is staying.

and i hate it even more because i'm just like them. gah...

I know how it goes. Our service starts at 11:00 AM give or take and our pastor must be on no later than 11:40 AM I realise that seems like a lot of time for music but in that we also have to do the welcoming (everyone goes around greeting other people), offeratory, prayer and praise time, announcements, the odd time there's special music (which means someone goes up and sings a non-praise song and everyone shuts up and sits there and listens) not to mention that we're rather laid back and 11:00 is pretty much a guideline and we start 5-10 minutes late regularly. Bottom line, we usually end up cutting two songs. (And usually ones I really like too) /(>_<)\

I went to a church in Southern California with a friend which had a building so small that they had to cram in 4 services on Sunday morning just to be able to handle all of the people. This meant 30 minute sermons. :/
