| Christian Music translated/written for Chinese (Mandarin) Hello people,
I just discovered this web site and it looks very cool.
I was wondering if anyone out there has christian songs that have been translated to or written for Mandarin.
I am a beginner in both Mandarin and guitar, so the ideal for me is sheet music with simple guitar chords and vocals written in Pin Ing.
If anyone knows where such music can be bought or share their guitar chords and/or translations of songs with me, I would be thrilled.
If you have an interest in chinese christan music too, I'd be keen to hear from you in this forum. |

| Looking for mandaring music too Hey everybody.
I'm a Christian musician/missionary who has been to China many times, and I've also done some concert touring there.
I have my own P&W CD that is in English and Mandarin. I also just comleted a songbook for it. It's called "Exalt Him Together.
But I am looking for contemporary, popular english songs, i.e., Hillsong, worship together, etc that have been translated into mandarin. I'm suprised at how hard it is to find. I've only found one web site that has only about a dozen or so songs translated and recorded, with a songbook. |

| Jesus is Lord Hello...I'm new here!
If you can read Chinese, see: http://www.momh.org/
You can request free tape or CD, and the song sheet with them. However, they're in traditional text, no "ping in". But these songs are beautiful, most appropriate for people in China because the tunes are in more traditional Chinese music.
As for English translated to Chinese praise songs, I have a slightly older song book by Maranatha (songs like In moments like these, Majesty translated in Chinese), published in 1999. It says for North America, contat (770)381-7950...hope the number still works....or check out any Chinese Christian bookstore.
I have one song (someone copied for me!) of Darlene Zschech's The Potter's Hand translated in Chinese. Don't know where my friend got it from....but there must be more somewhere!
Hope it helps...a little bit. |

| I have many of them with guitar chords...Calvary Chapel I have many of them on paper...if you can play the guitar...I can send them to you. I will take photos of each piece of paper for you if that is what you are looking for. They come from Calvary Chapel Okinawa. I was with them for 2 years while stationed overseas. We now use them to sing to the Japanese in NC. It is growing.

| ATTN: mercyaruldoss / Guitar playing in India The best thing is to play a lot. Learn all of the chords that you can!
There are thousands, so you will never get bored!
Learn to move into them quickly. Play with some other musicians
if you can. Don't worry about you r "mistakes," just learn learn learn,
and play all that you can. Quote:

There's a link at the top right to click for the english version of the page.
Have heard them live once too when they came to Singapore.

| If you guys want christian music in other languages you should try the following.
find some native believers that can sing an play instruments then go to a recording studio.
or prehaps buy a good multitrack recorder (boss BR-600 about $350 US is very good i use it for my recordings.)
make some tracks do a good mix down
make a cd
distribute
done.....
