I think his step son did the intro to the audio books Focus on the Family put together. It sounded like he was.

ok... the books were my favorite as a kid and i reread them over and over and over. i have read the books in the series over times 10 each. WHAT THE CRAP WERE THE CASTING DIRECTORS THINKING WHEN THEY HAD THE WHITE WITCH BE BLONDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!????????????????????????? i am very upset by this. they didn't physically cast the right people for the parts except for peter and lucy. i'm still seeing it opening night and will probably see it more than once but i'm still a bit peeved. they cast perfectly for the BBC movies, i'll post example pix. arg! but i'm sure it will be VERY good. i still can't wait.

1- white witch from bbc

2- white witch from movie

I think the White Witch looks a bit more evil with that hair, if you've seen the preview. It looks better there.
Weta is doing all the armory and special effects, so I expect that to be good. The preview looks very good, lots of great camera work. The BBC version lacked good cameras, camera work, sets, lighting, an actor to play Lucy who didn't look like a chipmunk. This looks much better.

Yep, she's better than a chipmunk.

But the person the BBC got to play Edmund was perfect for the part.

I'm excited for that huge battle scene at the end of the movie. The BBC version of the battle looks so pathetic compared to this one.
