| "Alas, poor Yorick! I knew him, Horatio."
Shakespeare's Hamlet, Act V, Scene i
Why does no one quote this correctly? Everyone always says "Alas, poor Yorick! I knew him well", when it is in fact "...I knew him, Horatio".
Now go, and misquote Hamlet no more.

| I love you, sunkist!!!!! Yes! Protect the sacred quotations! Until I read the play did I learn that. The misuse of Hamlet and Shakespeare so o'er takes our world, tis sad.

| I was expecting a misquote on that as well. I learned that was the proper way in OAC (Grade 13 for you American types) English.
My favourite misquote would have to be:
"2B or not 2B. That is the pencil."
Art students will understand it.
