#1 | | broken in and breaking | horses anyone??? Hey this is ME and I was just wondering of there were any horse lovers on this site.
I have been riding for about 4 years (taking lessons since I was 6) then I quit when I was 10 at that stable 1 because my fav horse at the stable died from colic and then 2 they were wanting me to start compeating a lot. I still ride a lot at my friends and then I am hoping to get a horse this year,
So tell me about your horses, and or if you don't have one then tell me about that too |

| i'm a horse lover. I have been riding for over 6 years (since I was 7). About nine months ago I got a qh/paint mare named Ginger. She is my pride and joy . One of my favorite horses (he was the first horse I rode in a horse show, the first horse I jumped on, and the first horse that bucked me off-wonderful memory) died of colic yesterday, so I can feel your pain. I am new to this site and I'm glad that I'm not the only horse crazy one here. |

| Don't worry - Ur not the only horse luvr on here Im sure.
I've been riding consitantly for a almost two years. (I've ridden off and on since I was about 5 (Now 15)) I'm a pretty big horse freak - luv horses to death. We're thinking about getting a horse sometime at the end of this year or the beginning of nxt year, so I'm pretty excited about that.

I have been riding for 2 years and have sucessfully fallen off twice. Once ona racehorse and once in the snow.
U definetly aren't the only horse freak around here, i just might be the only Aussie freak out here.

| My family has 4 draught horses. Halflingers. We just started breaking one of them to ride as well. Yesterday was the first time she's been ridden. I got on bareback and my dad held her head and we walked her around for a little while. She did great. All 4 of them are mares. I haven't done much riding at all. so it was kind of a new expereince for me too, first time I've ridden a horse bareback. |

| Yay! more horseys!
Ive got myself a Quarter horse (Colrando Lightning Chex, we just call him lightning) that looks like a thoroughbred (even the vet asked me if he'd raced!) He's only 5 and to date im the only one to have ridden him (cept for a couple a pony rides, but they dont count). Ive been riding for 9 years now and i just come back from 12 months in europe where i got to ride the most gorgeous and educated dressage horses and have lessons with some amazing instructors. Sadly back to the real world now...
