| I ride quite a bit but I'm not very good yet... currently I'm taking lessons from my dad's nextdoor neighbor.. And I kinda half own a horse with her... I ride him every weekend or like whenever I want... and she just like keeps him in her corall and makes sure he doesn't get sick or anything.. (she got him as a lesson horse cuz he had a broken leg.. He was a 4-H horse so very well trained too)... Ohhh ya I forgot to tell the name... His name is Sooner..

| My oldest daughter rides and has been since she was about 3 years old.
She owns a 12 year old daple grey American Quarter Horse, 15.4 hands high, named J.S. Heyday's Smoke..."Smokey" for short.
She's an AQHYA member and is currently going through level 2 of the Parelli horsemanship program and will be competing in her 3rd show in a couple weeks.
Here's a pic of them both: |

| I LOVE horses! I've been riding a little over five years and I've been blessed with four of the best horses on earth My special horse is Wrangler. He's a 5 yo paint.

| i don't own horses, but love em'. My aunt and uncle live down the road and they have a 13 yr, old mustang that was born wild. ( in the desert in south ID there are wild horses and the take some every year to auction off.) he is the sweetest horse, fun to ride!

| I love my horses. I think that the thing I like the most is to go cantering through the lakes it is so much fun! The just to gallop around with my horses. Aren't they great!

| ok, now we all know you guys or girls like or love horses....... but What is it that makes you like them?
now for me, its the surge of power that you feel under you when you urge a horse forward into a gallop...its unexplainable (i think tha's how its spelled dont care anyway, lol) nope, dont have one, never will because of my lifestyle... REALLY want to get with a band and go on tour. AWESOME STUFF! lol
anyway, so yeah, they can be your best friends....or your worst enemies...(you can choose to believe me or not) but yeah, there's my take on a horse. |

| Reading this, I hope to have one someday.
But right now We've got about 1/2 an acre of land. Not exactly horse country. Just watched the movie 'Dreamer', if that doesn't make you want to get a horse, nothing will. |

| I don't have any horses of my own, but I've ridden hunter/jumper for 7 years, and had a job at the barn close to my house for 5 years...so even though I haven't officially owned a horse, I've done just about everything involved with owning one, which has been awesome, and a great experience!

| I'm a reasonably avid equestrian... probably my most consistant riding event is with police units, particularly riding with the Mobile City police unit during Mardi Gras. I'm also fond of pleasure and trail riding, and horseback camping. Ireland has horseback tours of the countryside, and I'm hoping to do that next year.

| I grew up with a Shetland Pony
And I had a lovely Peruvian Paso Mare for quite a few years.
I no longer have horses. I would love to go riding sometime. |
