Personally the movie looks kind of dumb. The shorts were always funny but the movie... I don't know. Probably just me.

New flash: The shorts are utterly retarded.

I mean... come on. They launch themselves to the moon in a rocket made in their own basement, and they do it by lighting a fuse. Furthermore, the purpose of their trip is to restock their larder with cheese because, and I quote, "There's no cheese, Gromit!" Once they have arrived, they are then harassed by some bizarre... kitchen-contraption, which then spends the rest of its existence skiing across the surface of the moon on pieces torn from their rocket.
How is that not dumb, stupid, idiotic or retarded?

That said, I adore Wallace and Gromit. It's just brilliant. Chicken Run is only lower on my claymation-o-metre because it is not Wallace and Gromit; it's still freaking awesome. I am super-psyched to see the movie.

Jason... no words.

I saw this the other night along with The Corpse Bride (double feature at the drive-in).

It was done in the usual Wallace and Gromit style and was refreshingly funny and entertaining. However, I did not enjoy it as much as I enjoyed the shorts. They just seemed so much more brilliant.
