| Broken Masterpiece 'K, I guess it's time to post this...
I play lead guitar in a band called "Broken Masterpiece". We're supposed to record this summer, but I don't know if it'll work out or not. If so, we'll have some stuff up by then. We're also supposed to play a free show at the HRC on June 10th. Of course, Robbie, the drummer made plans for that, so we'll see about that also.
Here's our PV site and whatnot, read the bio and stuff. www.purevolume.com/brokenmasterpiece

| Thanks Nick! At first we started out as Gethsemane, but found out that there was already a band called so, and I didn't want to get filed under the Christian label because of it.

| So as of now, Tommy (the lead singer/guitarist) is dead set on the date for playing our show. I'd wish to have it at the end of June or sometime.
As of now, we don't know when we're recording, but we have plans for the middle of the summer. It will probably be a 5 track EP. I can't promise if it will be any good, but it probably will be made by the end of the summer.

| The HRC show isn't going to happen, do to some reasons between the drummer and the rest of the band.
I made a blog here. It has some lyrics for our songs. Post there or something.

| I'll salvage this thread...
We have two songs on our PV site now... Just two acoustic demos that I recorded with the lead singer. On my mp3 player. Tommy is supposedly getting some recording equipment in his basement from his uncle... So we might have a better recording of our stuff... Sometime. www.purevolume.com/brokenmasterpiece

Sometime. www.purevolume.com/brokenmasterpiece | I flipped out when I saw you'd updated this... then added another flip when I saw you had mp3s. Listening right now... Flying First Class. I understand that you recorded on an mp3 player, so I'm not going to bug you about clipping, out of sync, etc.
Tommy's voice sounds good. For some reason the song reminds me a bit of Dare You To Move... I don't know if that's a good thing or not. I'd really like to hear a full band version of this song.
Leaving The Mediocre Behind. Yeah, it's good. I like the guitar. Once again, Tommy's voice sounds good.
In summary, I'd really like to hear more of Masterpiece.
So, when did you say you're doing a gig in Bellingham?

| Dare You To Move? The only similarity I personally see is that it's in the same key...
I really wish I would have taken more time with the lyrics on this song. I think I rushed them and put music to them 'cause my bandmates needed another song from me. I took all but two lines from other songs.
Thanks. Quote: |

| Thanks. I wrote this song, again. It's probably the song I'm most proud of. I wrote it a long time ago too... when I was 12 I think. Quote:

| Haha, thanks man. I'll probably put another one of our songs up, one that Tommy wrote, soon. Quote: |

| Sounds pretty good, though the recording equipment didn't help. But you can hear that there is real talent there. |
