But seriously folks, I've always tried (and have come kinda close) to sound like Scott Stapp of Creed. He gotst a cool voice.

As for my own personal preference, I would like to sing like Jeremy Camp - I think he has a cool rock voice.

Yeah, I like Billy's voice too. But I would never sing in it, it's like a trademark. Same with Mike Stipe.

The guy from Switchfoot has a really cool voice. I'd love to sound like him.

we have a guy at our church from new zealand(close enogh to british) and its funny, cause he sings exactly like a midwesterner, but when he talks, you almost start laughing cause he has a hardcore accent.

he's going to get better, too. he needs some vocal training, not on how to sing, but singing styles. i wanted to shoot him when he sang "mack the knife" completely wrong style. he's gonna be really good a couple years. i look foward to him getting on some holiday time specials and singing.

I like my voice but if I could sing like someone it would be Chester from Linkin park, man i love his voice, but I would leave the rap behind and do something cooler. (easy to say when they're the ones selling millions of records) oh and Christian from blindside, his voice is great,

I just like to sound like me. If I were to wanted to sound like someone else I would not be unique and I wouldn't be using my voice the way God created it to sound.

I like to sing like myself. Which brings about the question, 'How do I sing?' It all depends on what I'm singing. When I sing pop, I sound poppy. When I sing gospel, I sound gospel-ly. When I sing opera, I sound opera-y. :S It all depends.

I want everyone to know it's me when they hear my voice. I want it to haunt them when they hear it and don't know who I am. I want it to affect them in a profound way.

If I could choose, I would want to be able to sing like Evanescence's lead singer...not sound exactly like her, because as everyone else said, that wouldn't be me...but I wish I could go really high and really low. Right now I'm just stuck in low lol.

Well, I try to sound like me, but some influences on how I try to use my voice are Hawksley Workman, Raine Maida, Kevin Max, and Benjamin Kowaliwecz (from Billy Talent). I wish I could perform vocal calisthenics like Hawksley, employ falsetto like Raine, have a range like Kevin, and scream like Benjamin.

I'd like to have Kevin Max's voice if I wasn't a girl. I would like to have TBG's lead singer's voice or Jennifer Knapp. if I was a guy I would want to sound like Switchfoot's lead singer or Jason Wade from Lifehouse (he rocks!!!!!!)

Darlene Zchech, huh? There's a lady at the church my family goes to who sounds very similar to Darlene Zchech or however you spell that...awesome stuff.

I have one friend who says my voice is totally awesome, but I'm fairly sure she's only saying that to make me feel good. I don't really know who I would want to sing like, but it would have to be somebody who has a larger voice range than me.

I want to sound like Mac Powell from Third Day. Love his deep rich tone.

Tim is the bass player and backup singer. Jon is the main singer. I have been told that I sing a lot like him, but I'm a girl, so I don't know if that's a compliment.

Anyway, I want to be able to sing like Amy Lee. I don't think I would want to sing like her all the time, but to be able to sing like her would be cool.

I have a friend who has never tried to sing regurlly but he can sing just like Bon from the old AC/DC records. It is the coolest thing eva :D
