Looks like the CCM reunion the world has been waiting for may just happen next year. Someone has been posting more updates on the official dcTalk social media outlets and there is an image with 2017 on it.

Kevin Max has been rather prolific lately and Michael has been busy with Newsboys. As always, Toby Mac has his hand on every other artist you hear on Christian radio.

This could be interesting.

Then again, it could be horrible.

We'll see.

FWIW...this song (featuring all three of them) was on TobyMac's last album.

Love Feels Like

It doesn't sound much different than what Tait is doing with Newsboys. Kevin has even been a few of their songs.

I admit. It isn't anything different than what you would expect. I also don't think you'll see much change for them sound wise even if they get back together. But man, the teenage heart inside of me can't help but get excited about the thought of it.

I joined the mailing list. There will be some sort of announcement on May 11th.

I do think it's funny they pulled this at the same time Radiohead pulled their little stunt.

Yes. The timing is strange. It's definitely something though.

I truly hope it's more than just a re-release of Welcome To The Freakshow. I mean, it would be a good 20 year reunion tour as the timing fits.

Perhaps they're going to pull an Audio Adrenaline and re-launch the group with three new guys.

Fingers crossed for Matt Thiessen, the brother-in-law of the bassist for Jars of Clay, and Questlove.

I'm trying to temper my enthusiasm until May 11th, but no guarantees that I won't squeal like a little girl if it's new material with most of the original members...

I was actually hoping to get a shot.
