I am going to run my harmonica mic through my Line6 amp and add some nasty trem and verb. A B harp in second position (F#) will suffice for a short solo.

Here is a test run. I am no expert, but I think I could probably get a better result after a day or two of trying some different things.

It's not as if I don't already 5 other recording projects going at once.

It sounds really cool! But could you please do another take at it. It's a little off tempo and think if you tried again it would sound even cooler. :D Sorry, but I'm only asking you to do it again because I believe you can do it.

NEVER MIND!!! I just adjusted it a bit and it was a latency problem...

New demo! Please notify me if the timing is right. I suspect I've ran into some latency issues with some of your submissions. If you think its off timing then tell me (because the one who recorded it should know how it sounded orginally)

Order of solo's...

1. LC7rock
2. gtrdave
3. Seanthompson
4. LC7rock (I left this one in just because I felt it fit in, I can get rid of it if we only stick with one solo each.
5. El cabong
6. caeman
7. Chups

I will add rhythm guitar soon.

Definitely some latency on mine. My track should start earlier.

caeman 01-20-2010 10:00 PM

Heh, that sounded really cool. I like.

This is my "studio":

Off camera is the amps, mics and instruments. That laptop has bad latency issues. I cannot actually play with another track in Reaper or Audacity and expect it to match up on playback. DAW trickery brings things into alignment.

Just for what its worth, that crazy harsh slide track is by far my favorite so far.

I will try to throw something together tomorrow...
